Case Construction CX490D Large Crawler Excavator

When the job calls for doing more, this is the machine that delivers more – the CASE CX490D. It starts with a 362 hp powerplant. It grunts out 60,700 lbs. of bucket breakout force. You could dig a canyon with that muscle. There are three power modes to customize performance and save fuel. There’s even more fuel saving thanks to the fine-tuned engine and the CASE Intelligent Hydraulic System that adjusts operation depending on the load. The free swing improves craning, laying and lifting. And the cab is loaded with more, from roominess to ergonomic controls. So, fire it up. There’s always more to do.
